The Center for Medicare Portability (CMP) is a non-partisan 501(c)(4) non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, dedicated to research and educate the public and policy makers on the issue of Medicare portability for eligible Medicare beneficiaries residing or on extended travel abroad.

It is their goal to bring together the people, organizations, expertise, research, and resources necessary to promote and attain international Medicare portability.

CMP believe that better information widely shared will lead to improved Medicare policies that will benefit healthcare providers in the U.S. and abroad, government budgets and Medicare beneficiaries.
